Drinking in public has its inherent flaws. It’s illegal, beers get warm in the sun, and those pesky police are always spoiling the fun. So what gives? If you or a loved one are looking to ‘up’ your game, have we got the book for you! Filled with tricks, tips, talking points and secret techniques, this pocket-sized lifesaver is a must-have for the serial offender. Crack a beer in a public place, and don’t you dare bottleneck, because Drinking in Public: Rules to the Game is now available!

Written by Nathaniel Spencer-Cross, the book is a satirical take on the ‘field-guide,’ which uses sports lingo and a convoluted point system to reinforce the ridiculousness of the premise. That being of course, that drinking in public can be construed as a legitimate sport with rules; points, a league, and most importantly, star players.
Illustrated by Maxime Gabriel, the book contains 15 illustrations ranging from clinical depictions of specific techniques, to conceptually light-hearted takes on the subject at hand. The illustrations are formerly meant to facilitate the technical lingo used to depict specific actions or techniques, but furthermore, it aims to mirror the standard field-guide in look.
